Confirmation Policy

After confirming your booking, you will have to pay a deposit amounting to 100% of the total cost, within 3 working days. Upon signing and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions.

All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of "Nexi e-Commerce" of Nexi Payments Greece S.A. and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Shared Trip

For all cancellations or changes we require having email notification at thalassopouli.cruises@gmail.com

Cancellations that will be placed at least 24hours prior departure, Thalassopouli cruises offers 100% refund of the down/full payment.

For changes that will be placed at least 24hours prior departure there is no extra fees but the new reservation is subject to availability. If there is no availability for the new date or tour then a full refund is applied.

For cancellations or changes within 23 hours prior departure  100% of the total cost of the tour is charged as cancellation fees.

Private Trip

Cancellations that will be placed at least 7 days prior departure, Astypalea VIP Yachting offers 100% refund of the down/full payment.

For changes that will be placed at least 7 days prior departure there is no extra fees but the new reservation is subject to availability. If there is no availability for the new date or tour then a full refund is applied.

For cancellations or changes within 6 days prior departure  100% of the total cost of the tour is charged as cancellation fees.

Cancellations on befalf of Thalassopouli cruises:

​Thalassopouli cruises reserves the right to cancel the tour due to heavy rain, extreme winds, engine or any other material damage and for any other reason in order to ensure every passengers safety. For all cancellation that will be placed from Astypalea VIP Yachting ,a full refund of the down/payment will be placed.

Additional fees​

 Please be informed that any additional charges incurred on the daily cruises of are the sole responsibility of the passengers and will not be covered by the vessel or any member of the crew..

Discount & Offers

Thalassopouli cruises may sometimes offer special discounts that apply to new bookings and not for the ones that have already been confirmed. In additions, any offers or discounts that have been given to you by Astypalea VIP Yachting, cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotional offers.

CAPTAIN'S RESPONSIBILITY

The cruise is subject to change at any time in the event of unforeseen weather changes or any other event outside of the reasonable control of the Captain and it will be your and Captain's responsibility to agree on a new route for your cruise. Any route choice depends on the sailing conditions, available marinas, etc. To avoid the doubt, for safety reasons the Captain's decision will be final.

INSURANCE

Thalassopouli boat is covered for the Third Party Liability as obligatory by Greek Legislation.

NUMBER OF PASSENGERS

Please note that the maximum number of passengers on board is always determined by the captain and in accordance with the official protocol of the vessel.”​

CHILDREN ON BOARD

If children are on board during the cruise, you shall be fully responsible for their behavior, safety and entertainment during the trip, while daily cruises will provide you with all safety equipment and inform you about the safety procedures on board the vessel.

RESPECT OTHER GUESTS

You must respect other passengers and not cause any annoyance. The Captain is responsible for the well-being and safety of all passengers, the crew and the yacht and you should comply with his instructions. The Captain reserves the right to terminate the holiday of any person whose behavior is causing annoyance, distress, damage or danger to our guests, the crew or the vessel. Upon such a termination this person will not be entitled to any refund and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred. The use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on board.

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
